Yahoo! Sponsors HCIL Speaker Series

We thank Yahoo! for providing a generous $5,000 gift to the HCIL in 2014-2015. This gift helped to fund our weekly brown bag lunch series, where we bring new speakers to campus and provide a catered event that has enriched the campus community in substantial ways.

The speaker series in Fall 2015 included talks from illustrious researchers, workshops for our HCIL students on research and career development, and a venue for a weekly get-together over food and drink that has made profound impacts on building community.

Even such small donations make a major impact on our HCIL community, and we are deeply indebted to Yahoo! for their support of the lab.
