Featured Student: Rie Kamikubo – PhD Information Studies

Rie Kamikubo is a PhD student in Computer Science, under the direction of Hernisa Kacorri. Her research interest is in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) with a focus on design for accessibility. She is passionate about developing new tools and methods that support technology designers in creating accessible solutions. Rie currently works with the Trace Center on the Inclusive ICT RERC project to extend data science methods to be inclusive for people with disabilities.
