HCIL 40th Annual Symposium

Thursday May 25, 2023
Hybrid: Iribe Center and Zoom

Join us May 25 in-person or on Zoom to learn about the cutting-edge research happening in the HCIL. In this full-day event, we’ll hear from faculty and students about ongoing research in AI, data visualization, accessibility, health informatics, usable privacy and security, and more. This year we celebrate 40 years of the lab. We’ve done a lot since the lab launched in 1983 and we’re looking forward to what faculty and students contribute in the next 40 years!

Visit Campus and Parking Information

Visiting: To get to the University of Maryland, see Campus and Visitor Services.

Parking: The symposium is held during the week between spring and summer semesters on campus. During this week, any vehicle (with

UMD has a useful interactive campus map to help you get around campus.
